Description

A personal examination told thru recyclables, thrifted/found items, and so much hot glue, to tell the story of what it took to create the person you see on the outside. A peek behind the curtain if you will; creating small world dioramas to tell my story. The highs and lows of a demanding religious culture and simultaneously growing a family would lead to the beginning of the unraveling of who I thought I was supposed to be, and into who I was meant to be. The heart of this piece is in the rebuilding, the discarding, and repurposing of the human experience, fully in bloom. This piece features two light sources, for maximum whimsy.
