Join us for Lunch and Learn September 15th 12-1:30. Bring a bagged lunch and meet us for lunch with a view. We are hoping to invite community leaders in to present on different topics each month.

Please join us September 16th 6-7pm at 410 Chestnut Street for an Artists Talk with Peter Noonan. Peter Noonan is an award-winning illustrator, cartoonist and fine artist. His illustration and design branding has appeared in numerous publications throughout the country. Mr. Noonan’s Fine Art is featured in private and public collections nationwide, including the New Hampshire Statehouse Portraits Collection. A NH native, Mr. Noonan studied at Colby Sawyer College, New London NH and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/ Tufts University, Boston and Paris. He lives in Manchester with his family.

Autumn arrives with a crisp breeze and bright foliage. The change of weather calls us to the enchantment of the wilderness and invites us to explore all the possibilities of the season. We roam to the woods and immerse ourselves in the beauty and mystery of this time of year. We are seeking art that depicts a celebration of autumn, the landscape, people, activities, holidays, and emotions. Broad interpretations of the theme are welcome. Work in all medium is welcome to apply, excluding reproductions and ai generated.

Deep in the woods, something magical is stirring. Wander with us into an evening of shadow, sparkle, and secrets. Don a mask and let your alter ego lead the way through a night where anything feels possible. Saturday, October 17th | 5:00–8:00 PM A suggested donation of $10 opens the gate. Along the path, a cash bar and light forest fare (snacks!) await weary travelers. Masks are encouraged, the deeper into the woods, the more magical the disguise. RSVP so we know to leave a lantern lit for you.

Paper is a simple material with deceptively vast possibilities. Despite technological advances, paper remains ubiquitous. Whether making lists, notes, letters, or otherwise sharing written information, paper is an object of everyday life. The simple nature of paper is what holds such potential for artists. Works made with paper may be two or three dimensional. They may be drawings, paintings, origami, papier mache, or any number of combinations of practice. Paper as a material and a subject are welcome, though all works must incorporate actual paper. Please no reproductions or ai generated content.

As the lights of the holidays slowly dim we are left in the stillness and quiet of the darkest time of the year. Betray the Dark is an invitation for artists to meet the darkness honestly, what does it feel like to sit inside difficult seasons of the mind and about the moments where the light is found and made. We're not looking for work that only performs pain, and we're not looking for work that rushes to resolve it. We want to see the in-between — searching, surviving, breaking through, holding on. Work that betrays the dark by refusing to let it have the final word. Throughout the month, the gallery will also host community workshops and healing sessions led by mental health professionals and practitioners across a range of modalities, so this show lives alongside real support, not just imagery of struggle.
