Founded in September 2022, Mosaic Art Collective has quickly become a vibrant hub for creativity in Manchester, NH.

Liz founded Mosaic Art Collective in September 2022 with a vision to create an inclusive space where artists could thrive and collaborate. As Founder and Volunteer Executive Director, she provides comprehensive leadership across all aspects of the organization, from strategic governance to day-to-day operations, ensuring Mosaic stays true to its mission of supporting diverse artistic voices in Manchester.

Ámbar Ruiz is a multidisciplinary designer and artist with more than a decade of experience across branding, product design, and public art. She holds a BFA in Design & Digital Arts from the School of Fine Arts & Design of Puerto Rico, and one of her artworks is part of the Contemporary Puerto Rican Art Collection. In Manchester, Ámbar has become deeply involved in the city's arts scene: she painted a mural for the historic Palace Theatre at the 2024 Arts Build Community Mural Festival, serves as President of the Manchester Arts Commission and Co-Chair of Manchester Young Professionals, sits on the board of the Currier Collective, and led the Currier Museum of Art's branding and website redesign. Ámbar first worked with Mosaic as a rebranding consultant, and she brings that same design expertise to the board in support of Manchester's artists and creative community.

Tim Smith-Gerding is a Social Impact Strategist and President of Blackbird Collective. He's supported 30+ nonprofits and funders since founding the firm in 2022. Prior to consulting, Tim held leadership roles at Tides, The Boston Foundation, and Full Circle Fund. He lived in San Francisco and Boston before moving to New Hampshire. Tim first got to know Mosaic as the organization was selected as Blackbird's 2026 Pro Bono Partner. In his free time, Tim enjoys poetry, lifting weights, and pretty much any carbohydrate.

Corinne Breton is the Executive Director of Stay Work Play NH, where she leads the organization's work to make New Hampshire a top destination for young talent. Her focus on affordable housing, workforce development, and work-life balance comes from a passion for empowering young people and building vibrant communities where they can thrive. Corinne brings a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to partnerships across sectors, along with a background in fundraising and community building. As a Mosaic board member, she brings that same energy to supporting Manchester's artists and the creative spaces that make the Granite State a place where young people can not only stay, but flourish.

Marcia oversees Mosaic's exhibition program, curating compelling shows that highlight diverse artistic voices and contemporary practices. With extensive experience in gallery management and curatorial work, she ensures each exhibition tells meaningful stories while supporting artist development and community engagement.

Daniela brings valuable strategic insight and business acumen to Mosaic's board. Her experience in organizational development and strategic planning helps guide the collective's growth while ensuring sustainable practices that support both artists and the broader Manchester community in achieving long-term success.

Chloe DuBois is passionate about creating experiences that bring people together through place and environment. You'll often find her biking the town's extensive network of trails, skiing mountains across New England, or volunteering with multiple local arts organizations.

Atlas serves as Head of PR at Mosaic Art Collective, where he leads communications, outreach, and public engagement. With a keen eye for storytelling and community connection, Atlas helps shape Mosaic's public voice, expanding its reach and visibility while fostering meaningful relationships with artists, audiences, and partners. His dedication ensures Mosaic's mission of inclusivity and creativity resonates both within Manchester and beyond.

Christina looks to a blank canvas as a way to quiet her mind and let the exaggerated use of color speak for her. She has found herself well versed in a variety of mediums ranging from print design to painting to textiles. Growing up in the west, and settling in the northeast, she has found inspiration in a multitude of places. From the dusty burnt sienna deserts of Southern Utah, to the crystal blue alpine lakes found in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, to the coastal area of New Hampshire. The range of terrain has inspired a wide variety of work from the highest elevation of the San Juan Mountains in the southwest to the coastal sea level of her favorite New England beach. The unique range of colors found seasonally in New England is mirrored in her bold body of work.

Cathy is an experienced paralegal and dedicated fiber artist and quilter who found her creative home at Mosaic after relocating from Poughkeepsie, NY. With a background in law and literary publishing — including editorial work at Laughing Earth Press — she brings sharp organizational skills and a deep love of the arts to her role as Treasurer, supporting the collective's mission and financial sustainability.

Cassia Chipman is a self-taught artist whose vibrant, kaleidoscopic creations reflect her belief in art as both expression and healing. Drawn to meditative practices such as acrylic pouring, neurographica, and intuitive painting, she embraces the joy of process over product, often working in vivid colors that spark playful, childlike wonder. Inspired by pop-surrealism and nature, her ever-evolving style is eclectic—like a Spotify playlist on shuffle—always surprising and full of energy. An active member of the Manchester art community and board member at Mosaic Art Collective, Cassia is passionate about fostering inclusivity and celebrating creativity in all its forms.
