Materials used: A recycled piece of foam packaging, plaster to make the main form. I used wire for the doors and gold leaf, acrylic paint for the decorations. I grew up in a religious home and had continued on that path until very recently when I stepped away and began exploring something different. This sculpture is a nod of honoring the family and woman I was but is also a symbol for being open to what sacredness I pursue next.
