This view shows a peak through the trees to an expanse; a mountain view is naturally framed by evergreens and a barren forest canopy. I find we naturally frame the views we come upon, focusing on a vantage point that frames out the rest of the world. Using composition and the organic reach of the forest as subject, the idea of the typically rectangular art and viewpoint is challenged.
