Life refuses to stop for grief and every individual must actively choose to continue to participate in spite of hardships or they risk missing out on living in the first place. This is the message “Impending Optimism” intends the viewer to acknowledge, the work itself is composed of abstract framing patterns which center a newspaper lettering collage that reads “You MusT ALWAYS keep going” with a guiding star underneath the message.
