Description

This cultivated garden of wildflowers in a quiet French village straddles the balance between natural order and human influence. The flowers blend together into a sea of color, highlighting the whimsicality and playfulness that can exist in the relationship between humans and nature. Capturing these flowers in this painting was, to me, a celebration of the riotous color and light this garden contained on such a small village corner.
