Description

gg legacy is a retrospective of our history with Gamergate and its repercussions. Gamergate is considered by many to be a watershed moment in the rise of extremist personalities and tactics to online prominence. As a geek journalist at the time, I watched events unfold in real-time. This piece presents important touchpoints, such as the initials of the main targets on the controller buttons, in manner similar to a video game easter egg.
