Painted from a photo taken at Clark’s Pond in Auburn, NH. Clark’s Pond is a backwater of Massabesic which is Manchester’s water supply, so no swimming! No worries, these lilies are more floaters than swimmers. The water was so crystal clear that you could spy the lily pad tails descending. Mounted and set into a shadowbox frame finished with Tru-Vue Museum Glass.

Artist Statement:
I am a colorist pastel artist who lives and works in Manchester, NH. Drawing upon a varied background in fitness, musical theater, and mathematics, these skills translate readily to create captivating compositions that practically sing. My work is often mistaken for oils or even photography, as I I delve deeply to refine the tiniest detail, blurring the lines of expectation in a pastel painting. My portfolio is filled with portraits, florals and sea, land, & skyscapes in a style I call idealized realism.
