Artist Statement:
I have had a passion for art since I was young. Other than taking private lessons from a local professional artist as a young teenager, I am truly self taught. I began painting again during the pandemic when I had to close my recruiting business and needed something to focus my energy on. What I never expected was how absolutely freeing it would be and am finding that I love texture and utilizing acrylic and mixed media. I am inspired by nature and the etherical and spiritual side of myself. Although not always, I find that painting intuitively has brought about some of my best work as I let the painting take me where it wants to go.
