This mosaic made mostly of handcut stone and marble also incorporates recycled scrap metal, an old grinding stone, Italian glass smalti, wood, turquoise, beads and glass nuggets. Vintage tools and rusty metal reflect the way things were in an era gone by. I find beauty in their rustic patina.

Artist Statement:
I am an established mosaic artist with almost 20 years experience creating fine art, functional art, and mosaic jewelry & belt buckles. My work has been in numerous juried exhibits nationally and I teach mosaic art at The Currier Museum of Art. I also enjoy fabric art, and am self taught weaving on a loom. Abstract painting is a new endeavor I dabble in when there is time. My studio is in beautiful southern New Hampshire.
