This piece is a collaboration with fellow mosaicist and friend Deb Aldo. It was a artist challenge to each create half a mosaic, previously unseen – then switch pieces and finish the other half of the mosaic. This is one of the pieces. Half can be in any way or shape. Artist Statement:
I am an established mosaic artist with almost 20 years experience creating fine art, functional art, and mosaic jewelry & belt buckles. My work has been in numerous juried exhibits nationally and I teach mosaic art at The Currier Museum of Art in Manchester NH. I also enjoy fabric art, and am self taught weaving on a loom. Abstract painting is a new endeavor I dabble in when there is time. My studio is in beautiful southern New Hampshire.
