Artist Statement:
My artwork combines character design and visual story telling with the intentions of evoking childlike wonder. I grew up with shows like Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Strawberry Shortcake, and I would say that those cartoons have influenced my art greatly. I enjoy using lots of strong vibrant colors in my work, and in my life, as they bring me a lot of comfort personally. My hope with my art, is to remind people that we’re all still children at heart.
